Bill is Back

We are delighted to say that Bill Syme, TUFLOW Software Business Lead for BMT, will be back in the UK for this year’s TUFLOW 2023 UK/Europe Conference. Not to be totally defeated by the Pandemic and even with a 10 hour time difference between Brisbane and Bristol, Bill made a valiant effort to make a virtual appearance at the last TUFLOW Conference in 2021. Technical problems our end caused issues for some, so it will be good to see him in person once again. This year’s Conference will take place at Bristol M Shed on the 24th-25th May 2023.

For those of you who don’t know Bill, he developed the widely used TUFLOW hydrodynamic modelling starting in 1989. Today, as BMT’s TUFLOW Software Business Lead, Bill manages TUFLOW Products and associated services. He continues to provide specialist flood modelling and flood risk management advice and was the Project Manager for the award-winning Brisbane River Flood Study Hydraulic Assessment.
