TUFLOW Update

Edenvale Young and BMT are delighted to announce that former Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) president, David Balmforth has yet again kindly agreed to chair the opening planary sessions at this years TUFLOW Conference. David’s lively style has been previously welcomed by all attendees.

For those of you not familiar with David he was last year commissioned to head up an independent review into the Toddbrook Reservoir incident that occurred in the early summer of 2019.

This important review will look into the events that took place in Whaley Bridge in Derbyshire from 1 August this year and consider what lessons can be learned by the wider industry to ensure ongoing reservoir safety.
