Experience

In June 2024, I graduated from the University of Bristol with a BSc in Geography – a course I greatly enjoyed. During my degree, I completed a module on disaster risk management, which culminated in using Tuflow to create a rainfall model of Cyclone Freddy and assessing its output to evaluate the impacts of the flooding on vulnerable people in Mozambique. This project sparked my interest in flooding, particularly in relation to prediction and mitigation. This interest led me to visit Edenvale Young for a chat about what it’s like to work in this industry and the projects being undertaken at EVY.

I began working at EVY in April 2025 and have greatly enjoyed expanding my technical skills and building on the knowledge I gained during my degree. There is much to learn, but I am excited about what the future holds.

In my own time, I enjoy cycling, specifically road racing, and spend weekends competing at both national and international level.
