Pavel Diptan joined Edenvale Young as a Graduate Hydraulic Modeller in February 2015, a year after graduating with a Masters degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Bristol.

Since joining the company in 2015 Pavel has become the company’s in-house surveyor with a valid ‘PfCO’ (Permission for Commercial UAV Operations). He has undertaken a number of traditional topographic and photogrammetric drone surveys around the UK including post-processing of survey data and design using AutoCAD Civil 3D, Pix4D and OpenDroneMap.

He is also the key provider of training in Flood Modeller, TUFLOW and ESTRY as well as scripting using bash, awk, gnuplot and a range of other tools.
